OBAMA VS. LIMBAUGH

President Obama, who rode to fame on fantastic astrological aspects, will lose those aspects on July 20, 2009.  At that time, he has two very severe progressed aspects including that dreaded Mars square.  With Mars opposing his Saturn, he will experience frustrations and setbacks.  I would interpret that to mean that the recovery package won't be working the way he had hoped.  Also with Mercury opposing his Saturn, he will experience disappointments, his reputation will be slandered and he will face disapproval.  As with all oppositions, this may come from people who oppose him.  I would interpret that as the Republican party.

Additionally, when there is a progressed aspect in place, the transits become very important.  In July, President Obama will have four transiting planets also in opposition. Could it be that the Republican Party's opposition to him (which most people see as a political strategy) will work?

Rush Limbaugh, the presumed leader of the Republican party at this time, is going to have the year of his life.  His chart oozes money from every pore.  If he is looking for romance, that is there also.  The drug problems occurred when his progressed Mars squared his Uranus, but that is long over.  

Remember, it's all about the timing.  Based on these astrological aspects, I would say that Obama's original strategy, bi-partisan politics, was the right approach.  Without it, the Republican's may be able to claim they are right, despite the fact it was their party that put the nation in the horrific downturned economy.

For those of you who are struggling, I would like to remind you that it is my opinion this economy is far from recovering.  So handle your life accordingly.  It is your chart that will determine how well you can do.  Some of you will benefit.  Some of you will have to make a lot of compromises. But whichever one applies to you, this economy will teach us all a lot of lessons that we were ignoring with Pluto in Sagittarius.  Now that is has moved into the very restrictive sign of Capricorn (on Thanksgiving 2008), each of us will pay the price for our own carelessness.

NATASHA RICHARDSON DECLARED BRAIN DEAD

Natasha Richardson was declared brain dead today, March 18th.  Currently her progressed Sun (herself) in the 9th House of Foreign Countries is opposition the transiting Pluto (death).  You won't see a death without Pluto involvement.

At this time, no one knows the cause of death, but it appears that she had a previous medical issue as far back as two years ago, astrologically speaking.  The reason I say this is that it was at that time that her progressed Mars (the most dreaded aspect in astrology) squared (bad) her progressed Mercury (brain).

Remember that you can look at the ruler of the 4th House, The End of The Matter, to see the manner of someone's death.  Hers is Saturn which is currently being conjuncted by Neptune (the planet of delusions).  Therefore it is possible she got some bad information regarding her condition or she wasn't aware of it at all.  I would read this to mean that it didn't happen on the ski slope.  There was some underlying condition going back to that Mars square.

In her husband's chart, his progressed Venus (people he loves) is conjunct his progressed Pluto.  Also the progressed Moon is conjunct transiting Pluto.  His progressed Mars is inconjunct (compromise needed) his Sun.  And his progressed Mercury (news, communication) is sitting on his nodes (karma, past lives, etc.).

If you are wondering if she would not have died had she not been in a foreign country, I would say that was not the primary reason.  But it was one of the primary reasons that this time frame became important.

If you look at both these charts, there is enough information to be very careful, and to be very suspicious that someone around these two people could die. One would not imagine it would be a woman this young, unless there was a prior condition.  This is why it is important to know the circumstances surrounding the client's life when looking at a chart.  Any astrologer should have been able to tell this couple to use caution -- which they may have done.  Skiing on a bunny slope is not considered to be very dangerous.

I believe there are some things we can prevent and some we cannot.  I would never presume to know which one this is.  However she was born an 8th House Sun and the 8th House rules death.  So like all Scorpio's (rules the 8th House), she would experience death in her lifetime (usually in a more profound way than people experience it normally) -- not necessarily her own early death, but it is one of the possibilities.
