ECLIPSES

We had our first solar eclipse of the year on January 26th.  It was 6 degrees Aquarius and was considered a Dragon's Head eclipse (good) which generally means that it if hit you, it brought out something you needed to see, but overall will benefit you.  As with all eclipses, you also have to look at it's opposition, 6 degrees Leo, in your chart to see if it affects you.  If you have an astrologer, you should also check to see if it hit any of your progressed  aspects.

The next eclipse was yesterday, the 9th of February.  All eclipses come in pairs.  This one was 21 degrees of Leo and it was a Dragon's Tail eclipse (bad).  Also check 21 degrees of Aquarius, it's opposite in your chart.  You may have felt like you fell off the radar emotionally or your confidence could have taken a nose dive.

With all eclipses, give a 3 degree orb on both sides.

A solar eclipse is like a Super New Moon.  And if it hits a personal planet of yours, it will coincide with profound insights and transformations in your life.  As with all new Moons, it is a good time to start new ventures.  The personal planet it hits will tell you more about the situation.

I experienced the Solar Eclipse by losing a person in my life that is too angry for me to continue to have as a friend.  And because it was a good eclipse on my Mercury (communications) and Venus (people you care about), I let go of a relationship that wasn't  working.  And I felt quite okay about it even though it wasn't the outcome I wanted.

The eclipse yesterday was exactly opposite my progressed Sun making it a lot more personal.  And because it was a Dragon's Tail eclipse, I got sick with acid reflux that I have never experienced before -- and that is much more uncomfortable than it sounds!!!  And it does sort of take you off your game plan and into a bit of a tailspin -- wondering if it could be stomach cancer, pretty sure it's not, but....

So, let me know if you have had any personal experiences with these events.   I'm always interested in your comments. 

Generally, we get four eclipses every year, but this year is unusual because there will be six.  More opportunities to get things done and more opportunities to work through problems.

"MISS BEHAVIOR"

I posted five "episodes" of "Miss Behavior" on You Tube last week, if anyone would care to view them.  It's Miss Behavior (me) lecturing people about manners without her totally getting the hint herself.  Hopefully, they are funny.  The quality is pretty bad, but, hey, it's You Tube and we're definitely amateurs.  Our message is to "Go Emerald" which is to say going green is great for our planet, but we also have to treat each other better by going emerald.  Miss Behavior believes that once we treat each other better, the rest will have to fall in line, too.

I purposely picked a day when Jupiter (the great benefic) was crossing the January 26th, eclipse point -- taking a little bit of a chance because traditionally eclipses were thought to portend disaster.  Currently astrologers believe eclipses  bring opportunities and the former thinking was to keep the peasants in their place!

I haven't yet sent out e-mails so no one really knows they are there yet. I just read in a book by Celeste Teal on eclipses that you should wait three days after an eclipse to make sure you aren't acting in a rash manner.  So I'm waiting.  I'll let you know if my gamble pays off.

MIRACLES CAN START TO HAPPEN

I was truly moved by the speech from our president last night.  I've never heard a president say that our children must complete high school FOR OUR COUNTRY. Now that's inspiring!

Each of us has a mission here on earth.  If you are one of the people losing things, you should know that it's very possible you weren't living the life you were meant to live.  And this shake up is just that -- to shake you out of your complacency and force you to dig down deep and ask yourself the important questions -- like how can I contribute to the universe in a way that is meaningful to me and others?

And because there is a power higher than you, miracles can start to happen. Sometimes slowly and in small ways, but you will notice it, if you are listening.  We do live in a beautiful world.  We just lose track of it.  People showing off their fancy cars, houses, jewelry and clothes tempt us into a way of life that will lead us to a place we don't want to find ourselves.  If you are really honest with yourself, you are a part of the problem. You have made bad decisions.  Just the honesty of that will set you on a more spiritual path with all the blessing that come with it.

And, you know I believe in the power of astrology.  See if there is something you can barter to have a reading.  Because astrology may be able to answer some of the questions you have about the circumstances in your life.
