PREDICTIONS FOR 2009

As you know, and I've bragged about as often as I can, I predicted Obama would be the next president just because he has an amazing chart. Here are my predictions for 2009:
Obama needs to be careful during the inauguration because despite his awesome aspects, he has a progressed Mars square. The only aspect I have every seen that can mitigate that, is the one he has. But he still should stay away from open spaces. And as I've said in earlier columns, I hope his inauguration is after 12:30 p.m.
Barbara Walters will have a health problem. It will most likely involve nerves and nervous system, her brain, tremors, etc. I say this because Mercury is definitely the planet involved. With a negative Mercury aspect, it could be bad press, but with Barbara Walters, a Libra with Libra rising, Libra Mercury and Libra Mars, she absolutely doesn't say anything that would come back to haunt her. Libra's are not saints, but in public, they are the all time best publicists. There is also Saturn and Pluto involvement which, again, makes me think it's about her health.
Mickey Rourke will win an Academy Award. I don't know who his competitors are, but with his chart ( you eventually have to have a good one), he should win.
Britney Spears has definitely pulled out of the worst of her progressed Mars square. But unfortunately, she has another aspect that will lead her to depression. So the difficult time she went through definitely isn't totally over.
Tom Cruise had just begun a progressed Mars square the Sun -- which we saw Britney and Owen Wilson go through. This will not be an easy or happy year for him. It's from his 6th House of Work to his 10th House of Career. The transiting Pluto is also opposition (bad) his Cancer sun.
The United States will stay in a depression, and I predict that the stimulus package won't get the desired results. On inauguration day, there is violence in the U.S. chart. 2009 will not get us out of the mess that we are in, no matter how good our leadership is.
Kate Hudson will have a new love relationship in her life and it will create some serious trouble or an unwanted pregnancy. She is overly confident at this time and is also in danger of problems with lawsuits or people in prominence.
Oprah Winfrey has a good chart and if she chooses to lose weight, she will. Nothing is keeping her from doing it. She thinks the reason she is heavy is that she doesn't take enough time for herself, but in fact, that is all she does. Oprah's identity is heavily associated with money (many 2nd House planets especially her Sun). What she doesn't realize is that she no longer needs to make money. Until she grasps that concept, her body and health will always come in second or third or fourth place.
Caroline Kennedy will be a senator if she chooses to. But what I also see is that this is a very sensitive person and the criticism may not be worth it to her. She will not necessarily pull out, but she may not fight to get the position. This would be a mistake. Her 12th House (behind the scenes) Sun is conjuncted by Saturn (the planet of restriction). She doesn't allow herself to be indulgent. And if she perceives this appointment to be that, she may not want it. However, because he cycle is good, she would be very good in this position. I don't think she would ever run for president -- just because she doesn't have the stomach for it.
There's some trouble in AnnetteAndWarren-ville but all marriages go through this (although you can see it in her performance the The Women), but they will probably survive it (in any case the public will never know about it). I predict she wants to divorce him, but if she makes it through this year, it will pass.
David Duchovny's marriage is also still in trouble. Leo's, because they are fixed signs, have a great deal of trouble changing their habits. And he still has progressed Sun square Mars!!! Whoopie Goldberg has some very unsavory aspects to the company she keeps. But she also has an extremely unusual aspect. Her natal Neptune has changed signs and it sextiling (good) her natal Jupiter which has also changed signs. This is similar to Obama's good aspect that is protecting him. Will it protect her?
I've already written about Michael Jackson with his progressed Mars square (bad) his Pluto in Gemini (lungs) the gossip that something may be wrong with his lungs may be true and serious.
There are people who want Dick Cheney and George Bush to be tried for war crimes but it isn't going to happen.
Israel is still in a very bad position to be in warfare. War crimes may be committed or anything that is against the law. And it could be costly financially. This is definitely a time when peace would be in their best interest.
